The Prophecy Stealer: Sent to steal your future
By Marc T. May

Luke 8:12   Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

The thief comes to comes to steal, kill and destroy. Without hope of a future a generation or even an individual will become reckless and live for the moment. Those who live for the moment are those who have no hope. Hope is connected to an eternal promise, a promise that comes from God through his written Word, a promise that comes through His prophetic Word.

The way side, have you ever wondered what Jesus meant? The wayside implies someone who is in route, on a journey, a road or on the roadside to somewhere, their future.
The enemy knows that the prophetic brings hope and it unlocks purpose and destiny..

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Steal: To steal your future
Kill:  To kill your character and testimony
Destroy:  To destroy your identity

Many are unaware of the subtle tactics that the enemy uses to gain entrance into your soul (emotional realm) those on the wayside are they who have been sidetracked on there way to purpose and destiny. The enemy knows you have a future that has been revealed by God. He then bombards you while on the way side (road, journey) to rob you of your future, thus causing you to live for the moment with no regard of   future implications, nor their affects on others.
Example: While on the wayside the enemy shows you a slide show one frame at a time. Never a movie, only a slide show, he is luring you further off the path of your future with each slide shown. He shows you through vain and wicked imaginations alternate paths to take you all the way to the end of the road while never revealing the destruction and devastation at that alternate destination.

Many around you will suffer as you walk in a cloud of deception, choosing to enjoy the pleasures of sin that only last for a season.
The thief now kills your character and testimony, by getting  on the wayside, on your route to your destiny, before long your identity has been destroyed who am I and what am I doing here.People around you do not recognize you or your behavior traits  You are now living in a counter reality, fulfilling a pseudo prophecy in a demonic future. Yes demonic, it’s not the future God ordained for you.
The following passage refers to Moses.
Hebrews 11:25, 26 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompense of the reward.

Moses had a future in God and chose to suffer  affliction to get there (to endure persecution with them).
It is not always sin, the enemy will use circumstances to pull you off course. Many bail out of ministries and churches when the warfare intensifies. Not willing to fight along side of the leadership or suffer with them through transitional periods. This can also be a distraction that takes you off your route to destiny and purpose.
Be aware of the prophecy stealer, protect your future
Moses knew that the covering of God was better than the covering of Pharaoh.
I wonder how many chose to stay with pharaoh rather than suffer affliction and receive a reward at the end of the battle.

A man that knows his identity knows his future!

Your situation my not be as drastic however,
Beware of the prophecy stealer.
Remember an enemy only operates effectively, when he goes undetected.
Prophecy stealer I see you!
